Digital Transformation

Iskandar Puteri is a city in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The programme's goal was to curate an entire ecosystem portal that consisted of all key elements of the city. The platform acts as a portal to foster exploration, innovation, collaboration and community building. With various key features including the city's entertainment, attractions and experiences, the portal is a one-stop comprehensive guide to Iskandar Puteri. From curating appealing content, building communities, and raising awareness for regional campaigns, the Iskandar Puteri City and Community Portal is a key milestone for its development as a city. The portal, fashioned over attractive user interface and user experience practices allows users of the community to easily access and navigate information around the platform.

The portal was developed to strengthen the city’s brand by expanding and developing engaging content that resonates with the locals, enhance the digital platform by further developing the digital-first lifestyle of Iskandar Puteri, increase awareness of nationwide and regional campaigns, increase engagement and reinforce the portal as a digital enabler and community builder and promote livability in order to double the population size of the city. The best practices in web development, UI/UX and database modelling and management were utilised in order to meet the above objectives. A global team consisting of content curators, web developers, and UX/UI designers was onboarded to help build this platform. The platform is now live and serves as the latest portal for Iskandar Puteri. Today, this amazing platform stands proud for anyone to visit and know more about the city's latest attractions and events.
