Shell Family Day - Sustainability Edition

This talent development programme gathered participants to get their lumber on in this workshop of woodworking, emphasising on team building. As a corporate training programme, its activities harnessed the power of people. The Shell Family Day promoted learning through hands-on application to accentuate immersive experiences. To build a driving workforce that is ready to tackle the challenges of the future, corporates need to be re-skilled for the 21st-century in order to meet the needs, demands and skills that are on the rise in our fast-paced economy. With guidance, participants learned how to use handheld woodworking power tools to get started on their craft after basic sketching of their own. In the spirit of team building, participants worked in groups of three to cooperatively finesse their craftsmanships.
