BioLoop

BioLoop exists to feed Malaysia (if not the world!) sustainably and affordably by using black soldier fly larvae (BSFL) to consume and ingest pre-consumer agro-waste. The BSFL will be harvested and used as high-quality protein in aquaculture feed, poultry feed and pet food while the frass (excrement) will be used as organic fertiliser for crops such as durian, banana, chilli, pineapple and vegetables. We are now operating an industrial-scale facility with the potential to produce 15 tonnes of dried insect protein and 150 tonnes of organic fertiliser every month. Let’s move the dial on food security together!
