Whether you're an educational institution, a community centre, or a forward-thinking business - partner with us, and let's design futures, one space at a time.
In the evolving landscape of hands-on learning and professional development, a well-conceptualized makerspace can be the cornerstone of innovation.

Blending technical knowledge with visionary foresight, we are not just about utilizing space effectively; we craft an environment that fosters creation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Catering to a diverse range of  sectors, we ensure your space is more than just functional—it's transformational. Let's craft spaces that inspire, engage, and elevate.
Let’s talk!

At Mereka, we see Makerspace as:

A Laboratory of Play

As Albert Einstein once remarked, "Play is the highest form of research." Our makerspaces are playgrounds, encouraging free exploration and boundless creativity.

An Incubator

Makerspaces aren't just spaces; they're convergence zones. Here, thoughts become tangible, prototypes emerge, and makers connect in their shared pursuit of innovation.

A Foundation for Growth

Through 'making', one learns more than craftsmanship. It's a lesson in curiosity, unwavering passion, and the art of bouncing back from setbacks – integral life skills for charting paths to success.

After losing his father, being estranged from his family, and not finding his footing in the traditional job market, David felt directionless.

Hoping to find his purpose, he made a trip back to his hometown in Sabah. The weekend trip however, turned out to be extended indefinitely as the government announced the first lockdown.

Having left his minimum wage job as an English department manager, and with barely anything in his bank account, he started selling pisang goreng at the side of the road with the help of his fiancee.

After seeing how local warung (stall) owners attracted customers, David realized the essence of Marketing. It was also when he realized that he has a knack for it, through writing.

“In my research, and in the drive to find money, I applied for a job as a writer for websites, specializing in branding and freelancing. The best way to learn is to jump right in, am I right?”David quickly became one of Malaysia’s top freelance copywriters on a freelance platform called Upwork. He went from broke to RM 10,000 a month with copywriting.

He now lives life the way he has always wanted to - running his very own business, working on his terms, earning what he deserves and freedom to not compromise on his time and happiness.
