Mondelez Joy School Program: Active Play was included in Mondelez International's corporate social responsibility campaign initiative to cultivate young minds to become the changemakers of tomorrow. Mondelez International collaborated with Me.reka to expand the concepts of recycling and construct a playground based on the very foundations of waste material!

The programme empowered the youths of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Seksyen 18 Shah Alam and SK Bandar Sunway to value community well-being through smart and active use of the Joy Playground. The upcycled Joy Playground, built to reflect responsibility to the environment has 4 constructions: A Wood Balance to train youth on their motor skills, the Bull's Eye as competitive training among the students, Papan Plinko for youths to achieve focus, and Recycling Chairs & Tables constructed from Eco Bricks. This programme has developed a sustainable mindset among the schools' youths by enhancing the development of creativity through the hands-on building of playground facilities using waste materials and exposure to the importance of upcycling.
